So we’re excited to be in thick of it as we hook up with Flatpack Festival, which explodes onto Birmingham’s art and culture scene for the seventh year from the 21st - 31st March 2013.
Venues across the city will throw open their doors to host an eclectic programme of film and activities with something for all tastes from animation and artists film to live cinema and music documentary.
We will be heading to Digbeth for the festival’s second weekend (Thursday 28th – 31st March) where we will be sponsoring the Kickstarter event on the 28th and offering guests samples of our flagship brand, Kingstone Press.
Afterwards you will find us chilling out at the Flatpack Palais, the heart of the festival based in the Custard Factory’s Old Library, where visitors can pick up information and enjoy a medley of discussions, performances, free screenings and of course a chilled glass of cider from the bar, which will be fully stocked with Kingstone Press.
Other highlights of the festival include screenings in a host of weird and wonderful venues from a solar-powered cinema to churches, cafes and the 100 year old Electric Cinema. It really is an experience, which has been described as “joyously inventive” “quirky” and the “most creatively curated film festival in the UK”.
We’re proud to be a part of festival which both celebrates the city’s creative side and promotes independent Birmingham based businesses just like us!
So why not check it out. See you at the bar!
