We’ve spent the last six months getting to know some of the chefs, restaurant owners and food bloggers and have been really impressed with the scene we have here in Birmingham. It’s also been great to explore where we can take our cider recipes.

Recently we came across a great new initiative #FutureFoodies on Twitter and were interested to find out more. This new initiative has been set up by the Birmingham blogger collective Dine Birmingham to celebrate all that’s good about our regions food and drink. Here's how Dine Birmingham describe this inaugural event;

“#FutureFoodies celebrates Birmingham’s forward-thinking food scene.

Independent food and drink traders will showcase their products to food bloggers, journalists and social media users, who will get the chance to taste the best of Birmingham’s indies, all in one place. Before, during and after the event, we’ll be using social media - Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube - to shine a spotlight on the participating food producers, and to publiciseBirmingham’s fantastic independent food scene.

Then, in July, a #FutureFoodies booklet will be published, profiling and promoting independents in the city.”

We are delighted to be representing the independent cider sector at this brilliant event and will be showcasing our product with some of the finest food Birmingham has to offer.
